Barclay Medical Practice is a General Practitioner Specialty Training (GPST) facility. Our GP registrars are fully qualified doctors who have experience working in hospitals and are now gaining further training in General Practice. They usually spend six to twelve months with us and are a valued part of our clinical team.

If you are seen by a GP registrar, you can expect the same high standard of care as you would from any of our regular clinicians.

Occasionally, we may ask if you would be willing to take part in a video consultation. These recordings are a valuable learning tool for our trainees and help their supervisors provide feedback and support. Participation is entirely voluntary.
